Ring in the New Year at this Unforgettable Party

Universal Orlando Resort has popular rides and thrilling attractions that seem at first glance like they’re tailored for kids. With the recent opening of its Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you could be forgiven for thinking it caters to children… until you remember that the first Harry Potter movie came out in 2001, and that would make a 10-year-old fan at the time someone in their 30s.

The truth is, there’s a lot to do at Universal Orlando for adults. And there might not be any better time to plan an adult vacation to the park than New Year’s Eve.

You can ring in the new year with magic and wonder this year. Use this guide to plan an NYE vacation to Universal Orlando and experience a celebration like no other. Join many other like-minded revelers celebrating the new year in the Sunshine state.

The Happening

Universal Orlando’s New Years’ bash can be heard throughout the park with live music echoing all over. This is your chance to spend New Year’s with your favorite characters. Before you start worrying about additional cost, keep in mind that the New Year’s Eve Celebration is included with your theme park admission. You’ll want to visit the rocking party zones at the Music Plaza Stage and Central Park areas, where the party will be going strong!

Cinematic Celebration

Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration will leave you seeing stars all night as astonishing pyrotechnical displays and confetti fill the air. Enjoy songs from your favorite films, and try not to sing along while dancing fountains move to the rhythm. Be prepared for roaring dinosaurs from Jurassic World or see the mischievous antics of a few Minions from Despicable Me.

EVE at Universal CityWalk

If formal is more your kind of event, head over to Eve at Universal CityWalk for gourmet cuisine, signature drinks, and dance the night away at five awesome clubs, each with their own live bands and DJs. You must be at least 21 years of age with a valid photo ID.

This year will bring about one new change: a new kind of VIP access. The EVE Pavilion Party ticket will give guests access to the center of the dance floor with additional benefits.

This is a great hotel for those on a budget or wanting to save funds for drinks and partying! With retro-style rooms and bright colors, you’ll find yourself enjoying the bang for your buck.

Hilton Garden Inn Orlando International Drive North

With an onsite bar and grill, you will find another place to carry on the party, so whether you want to grab a bite at the Garden Grille or grab a drink at the poolside tiki bar, you can continue to bring on the New Year with fun and laughter.
