BRAZILIAN POP STAR LAUNCHES CAREER IN LOS ANGELES
Mavix begun his career in music at age 14 playing the violin in small ensambles, church choirs and community events in Brazil. In 2008, he joined the Goiás Youth Symphonic Orchestra whilst being a member of a few local rock bands with which he recorded several singles. As a DJ, Mavix launched his first EDM solo project in 2014 and had the opportunity to play throughout Brazil, in several Latin American countries and Europe. In 2016, Mavix moved to Los Angeles where he released his first single “Never Say Goodbye”, which he wrote and produced. Through his music, Mavix fuses electronic beats with flavors of Brazilian pop music, as a way to transcende race, sexual orientation or religion.
