Celebrities Don’t Get Actually Away With Everything

Some people believe that celebrities get away with a host of crimes simply because they’re rich and famous, but that’s not actually true. While some celebrities might never be brought to justice for their crimes, they are actually held accountable on a regular basis for all sorts of wrongdoings, including theft, fraud, and even murder.

Sharon Stone was sued for a car crash

Earlier in 2024, a woman named Amanda Godepski sued actress Sharon Stone for $35,000 over a car crash she says Stone caused in 2023. Godepski claims Stone was driving at a high speed and in an unsafe manner when she made an unsafe turn into Godepski’s lane, which caused the crash that left Godepski injured.

Stone is being sued for lost wages, property damage, personal injury, general damage, and loss of earning capacity. These claims are common with injury cases, but not everyone involved in a car crash can sue the other driver right away.

In any case, it’s always best to consult an attorney before accepting a settlement from an insurance company because there’s a chance you might be able to recover more compensation through a lawsuit.
