An Exclusive Interview With Actress Maria Hojas
The amazing actress Maria Hojas tells us about her new projects and what she loves the most about living in LA.
How long have you been in LA?
I got here in 2014 , so wow! it’s been 4 years already.
And what is your favorite thing about living in this city?
The weather for sure, but of course I love the variety of things that you can do and learn in this city, you can find pretty much everything, all kinds of food, clothing, coffee shops, acting classes, events, I mean literally everything.
We know you are working on a few new projects?
Yes I am, unfortunately I can’t talk about all of them, because of non disclosure agreement, but I have so many exciting thing coming up. I am very grateful and excited.
We understand, then tell us about your goals as an actress ?
My goal is to keep growing and get to work with my favorite directors, my favorite right now is Yorgos Lanthimos. I love everything about his last movie, The killing of a sacred deer, his way of directing is so fine and elegant, I just the humor and the profound sense of social criticism. I would say that would be my goal for the moment. I would love to get to meet him and work with him.
What is your favorite thing about acting?
Acting allows you to discover certain parts that you’ve always had inside you but never truly dare to look at, that is so interesting to me, you are trying to get to know your character better, in that path you get to know things about yourself and other human beings.
